Quotes
1. A quote is prepared for each piece of work requested.
2. The quote is sent by e-mail or fax to the Client with an indication
of the price, the delivery date and the payment conditions along with
a copy of the General Sales Conditions.
3. No minimum tariff is imposed.
4. The unit used for calculating a translation is the word in the source
language.
5. Acceptation of the quote should be by return of the signed quote
either by fax or by e-mail quoting the reference number of the quote
concerned. Acceptation of the quote implies unreserved acceptation of
the General Sales Conditions.
6. Once the quote has been accepted, any request the Client makes for
additional work not included in the quote - supplementary translation
or redaction, proof-reading, editorial or layout modifications - will
lead to the preparation of an additional invoice.
Delivery
date
1. The delivery date is indicated in the quote in number of working
days. By working days we understand all weekdays from Monday to Friday
inclusive excluding National Holidays.
2. The delivery date is calculated from the day on which the signed
quote is received from the Client.
3. The delivery date will be extended following any request for additional
work not included in the original quote.
4. A Langue L'Aise cannot be held responsible for delivery delays linked
to problems with faxes, modems, e-mails and other postal or land-based
means of delivery.
Payment
1. Once the quote has been accepted by the Client, work cannot be cancelled.
Payment is due in full for any work cancelled after acceptation of the
quote.
2. The invoice is drawn up upon delivery of the completed work.
3. The sum due is indicated in Euros.
4. All payments are made in Euros. Should monetary conversion be necessary,
conversion costs will be paid by the Client.
5. All invoices must be paid immediately upon receipt by the Client.
6. Method of payment : cheque made out to A Langue L'Aise or bank transfer.
6. In the case of delayed payments, any orders underway will be put
on hold.
7. In accordance with the law of 31 December 1992 n° 92-1442 applicable
as from July 1993, the penalities for any delay in payment will be calculated
on the basis of 1.3% per month.
Validation
of the document
1. It is the Client's responsibility to control the document upon delivery.
2. Any claim will only be taken into consideration if signified by recorded
delivery with acknowledgement of receipt fifteen calendar days after
delivery of the work (ie the date on which the work left our offices)
at the latest. The claim should be accompanied by the original documents
and the contested work. Once this time span has elapsed, it will be
considered that the work is correct.
3. We accept no responsibility for the direct or indirect consequenses,
material or other, resulting from the use of the texts worked on by
ourselves.
4. Our responsibility is limited to the sum indicated on the invoice.
Confidentiality
1. We undertake to never divulge or otherwise use the information we
are entrusted with for redaction, translation or proof-reading services.
